Why we started
Pest control built around the customer, not the schedule.
In 2020, Marcus and Elena Reyes left their careers — Marcus as an entomologist at UC Davis, Elena as an EPA compliance officer — to start a pest control company built on a frustrating observation: most pest control companies were treating customers like recurring revenue, not people with problems to solve.
They started Main Pest Control with a simple principle: act like the problem is your own. That meant calling customers back when the pest was still there, answering phones personally, and never leaving a job until the customer was actually satisfied.
Twenty years later, those same principles guide every hire, every service call, and every customer interaction. We're still family-operated. Marcus still trains every technician. Elena still reviews our chemical protocols.
